They don't want to help the customer and they do not return calls. My girlfriend wanted a car and they put her into a over priced wrecked pick-up truck and made promises to fix it. Now she is trying to return the truck and get a car. But they only want her money and don't care about her. I would never deal with these people.
I will NEVER advise anyone to go see Doniphan Auto for a car!!!! I bought my POS car there 10/10/2016. The ladies in the office are nice and were helpful when it came to service and helping me get a vehicle. However, because of my credit I could only be approved for certain vehicles. The first vehicle, a 99 ford expedition, was not great but it ran and had the room I needed. I agreed to buy it and they were going to take it to the mechanic. One of the women called me later and said the ford was a piece of crap so they were just going to give me the 04 Nissan Armada I wanted. Awesome right?! So excited! They gave me a great trade in value for my nice, but minorly dented/dinged, jeep. It ran great. They had had the Nissan to the mechanic, "everything was taken care of." I didn't get to test drive it, I just signed the paperwork for an 'as is' sale(my bad.) I live in Hastings, they are in Grand Island, it's about 25 miles between the two. I did not even make it out of the parking lot before the exhaust started making a ticking noise. I didn't make it halfway home before the check engine light came on. O'Reillys couldn't figure out why it was on. Within the first month it started leaking oil, they claim to have changed the oil. I did the oil change myself, there is no way that oil had been changed, it was BLACK. I had to put a sealant in the oil to stop the leak for now. It also started to get louder, it went from just ticking noise to a chugging noise while it idles. I have had it for two and a half months now. It now ticks, chugs, jerks and has a severe exhaust. I took it in. It needs a a new starter, new battery, new catalytic converter and gasket, O2 sensor, ignition coils, sparkplugs, fuel injectors and exhaust gasket. I called them about all of this, we took it in, everything was taken care of. BULLSHIT!!! I have had this car for two and a half months 90% in(small) town driving and it needs $1,000s of dollars worth of work?! Did I mention the gas mileage? They said 12mpg in town, 18mpg highway. I drove filled the 22 gallon tank(which has a defective gauge so even if I put 22 gallons in it always says it only filled to 3/4), I drove 120 miles, in town, and used all 22 gallons. I know it's an SUV but REALLY?! I cannot believe that they would rip someone off SO BAD!!!! I don't know if it's because I paid in full and wouldn't be returning for payments but either way!! What horrible customer service!!!!
