I went to him two years ago he operated on my foot three different times and cut open the bottom of my foot ever since then I've had horrible problems I just ended up having to get a transmetatarsal amputation to finally put an end to the pain that he did with my nerves. I do not recommend going there nor would I send anyone to see him. He talk to me more about his personal problems and he did my foot. Be wise and go see a regular foot doctor and not a podiatrist especially Dr. Lewandowski.
Dr. Lewandowski and his staff are all very friendly and take an interest in me as more than just a patient. He is honest with diagnosis, gives clear, easy to understand instructions, and always makes time for questions.
I work with Dr. Jim on a professional level and have always enjoyed his ethical core and compassion for his patients. He has such a positive outlook and attitude. It is inspiring. And as a podiatrist, he does everything he can to make sure he runs his business with all the latest technology & services available. He takes his responsibilities seriously. If everyone could just run their business and work the way he does, it would make a huge impact on our world.
PLEASE DON'T GO HERE!!! The doctor will try to talk you in to a $700.00 laser treatment that insurance won't cover and does not work. After I finished 12 treatments I asked two other foot doctors and a physical therapist about it and none of them had even heard of the laser. I sat in the exam chair one day waiting on Karen who told me to go take a seat and she would get me started, then forgot about me for 15 min while while she sat at her desk and smoked her ecig! Thankfully the doctor walked by and I told him I had to get back to work so he started the laser. Every time I tried to ask the doctor a question he said "trust me" or "you will need to make another apt". Between my laser treatments and 2 office visits with him it cost my insurance company and my wallet $2,000. My pain was excruciating while he jerked me around for two months. I told him right away that I was still hurting after doing everything he asked. Stretches, buying the night splint, braces, orthotics and laser treatments. He didn't offer any of my money back or even try to sound sorry that I was hurting so much and nothing was working. He just told me to make another apt. I went to see Dr Wilson 1 time and he started me on a med and PT and with in days I was feeling better.
I would not recommend this office to anyone. I was told I needed a whole bunch of services, none of which were covered by my insurance. At that time I was told it would be looked into before proceeding, the Doctor proceeded anyways. I was then slapped with a huge bill. I paid this bill although unhappy about it and still in pain. I was told my account was paid and then 3 years later I get a notice that I have an unpaid account which was being sent to collections and I've never been notified. I guess if your into shady business practices this is the office for you! Go enjoy!
