On this visit I couldn't find the item advertised on sale. A guy from garden Dept said it might have been an online only special buy... Ended up buying a higher priced yet recently reduced price version. Still much better than Walmart or Menards for quality and cleanliness of the store. I appreciate the spacious parking lot stalls here too.
I would rate our visit as excellent except for the policy on carpet installation.
Bought fridge but was told it would take 8 days to deliver. Get text on delivery day saying it was loaded and on truck. Waited over an hour with no more text to explain delay. Called to check on order and after many transfers and being hung up on twice was told it was damaged in shipping. When asked how long it would take to replace was told they did not know. Maybe a week, maybe a month. When I said this was unacceptable beings they had already taken my money. Was told it was not her concern. Last time I set foot in ND.
Went to Home Depot today to look for carpet, a new microwave and paint.
Helpful staff but had to find large ticket items twice now that they couldn't find. Was told they had sold and the computer hadn't updated yet, but a few minutes of walking around the store and I located my item in overflow at the top of the racks. TWICE! One was a toolbox over $1000. How does a store loose thousand dollar items and just chalk it up to slow computers? And it's not just this store, had the same issue with the store 1 digit higher than this one. Overall they have what I need at good prices so I only knocked off one star.
The young man working in the paint department was surprisingly very knowledgeable! We purchased our paint there and definitely will buy more from there in the future.
We also purchased a microwave today mostly due to the price however, the young man working in that department greeted us immediately and also extremely nice and helpful.
Helpful staff, when you can get a hold of someone. Great products at competitive prices.
Loved several different samples of carpet offered there however, we just wanted to purchase carpet and not the installation and the price included both. No discount if you bought the carpet and use your own installer so not buying carpet there.
