This museum is a real gem hidden in the middle of nowhere. Staff is dressed in period costume and is very knowledgeable about the time. The buildings are lovingly cared for.

All of our elementary aged children loved this and the whole family learned together.

We recommend taking a picnic with you to enjoy somewhere in the beautiful grounds, then stopping by the general store for some old timey sweets for dessert.

Great event next fir and sat eve and Sunday afternoon. Come see us and find your Christmas spirit. Bring food to donate for the local food pantry.

The museum was everything that the brochure said it was. The old time Town had citizens dressed in Period dress and they knew their history and all the tasks that they were to perform according to the building that they hosted. One lady makes her own hats and it was so incredible to watch her do this. The blacksmith was a lot of fun and the tin maker will make you a cookie cutter if you just tell him what you want. We very much enjoyed our visit.

This is a quiet little historical museum. You can walk through railroad ties and even see things like a real blacksmith at work!

We got lucky to find this museum on the weekend of the eclipse and can't express our gratitude to the park staff enough for opening their doors. What a treat!

Wonderful place to visit with friends. Freebie ornaments at Old Tin shop. Knowledgeable guides in each building. Fun
