They also never meet their Internet speeds. When I had Internet installed in G.I. They installed a resistant device that slowed my Internet because I was receiving more than 60mbps. That changed after a couple months; after "repairs" I experienced slower Internet and had someone come look at it (from Charter after 2 weeks of talking with them). The person was nice told me that it was the resistor took it off and that fixed the issue. I had good Internet for a couple of months, but it went back to the same slow service quickly. Not more than 2 devices can be on at one time.
Charter is a horrible company that doesn't believe in growth or competition. It's the only company with Internet in the area and they're "allowed" to be down for 48 out of your billing period as well as be down after midnight to 6 am for repairs every night. I went through them in Kearney and Grand Island and $70 a month for that service is outrageous.
Worst service provider ever, they have just lost a customer for ever. They dont keep their word on the promotions they offer, they overprice their services and their service sucks. Their customer service is not helpful at all.
I would say only one Internet provider who has great price range
It's not this branchs fault for this review, I want to make that clear.
Local customer service does everything they can for you with their limited scope given to them by spectrum. It is a cable company. They are all the same. A virtual monopoly requires you to obtain their service so they do very little to keep it, but they will always charge you more when they can. Watch out for hidden fees. The first year with them goes well, after that it's a fight to keep costs down.
