I 80 tattoo is amazing.. the message girls are great. Chuck at the fuel desk is good guy. And the thunder road cafe is kick ass food. Ask for Lindsey she is the best...
I recommend stopping here for any reason. A break, shift reset, cycle reset, or to just check it out. It was a welcome change from some places.
All in all our visit was pleasant. The showers were clean and we had no wait even though it was 8pm (peak time). The Thunder Road Grill makes a pretty good pizza and the service was quick and polite. However, we did have just a moment that was not the most impressive. We were browsing around the store and my husband noticed a electronic service counter. There was an older gentleman standing there. We politely greeted him and then asked the gentleman if they had an HD24 mobile receiver for Direct TV, we have been pricing them all over the country. Well anyway, this so called employee tells us they don't have anything like that there. We thought it was kinda odd seeing how they had a decent selection of other various electronic gadgets centered around entertainment for the trucker. As mere seconds pass and he no sooner told us no, we spot them in the display case. I couldn't help but get a little vexed. He just acted as though we were taking up his air and wanted us not to bother him. Don't get me wrong, I understand he may have just been watching the counter, while watching the college football game and may not have known what we were talking about (highly unlikely), but his attitude of annoyance in turn annoyed me. I couldn't help but let him know that yes they carry them and his customer service skills were zero to none. At that point, if it was the cheapest one in the country, we would've bought it. I refuse to give my money to anyone providing a service that has such an indignant attitude.

this is by far the the best truck stop I've ever been in all the u.s. it has everything. It has parking diesel fuel gas I don't believe I have seen a better truck stop. This place has everything clothes accessories things for your truck for your car for repairs think about something and you're going to get to here salt now I do suggest that if you want to eat you have to come in early because all the restaurants are closed after 9 so if you're coming I need to do a truck stop this is the one to come in
