I took my little guy there to get a cut. He had a good 2 1/2 months growth, so I was excited to get him his "faux hawk" again. I brought them a picture for him when he had the cut last year. 1st the stylist- Molly- clarified that she was going to cut the back and sides and leave to top long- for the moat part- Well she didn’t have the sides short enough so she went over again, at that point she chopped 2 holes into his hair ( that I harden’s seen yet) then she did a horrible job at lining up his neck in the back. And begin to cut down the top, - where it was supposed to stay long.- The then asked me about the front I explained that last time he had that cut his hair came to a sort of "V" on his forehead when it wasn’t styled, At that point I looked down at my phone and seconds later, when I looked up I found she had, crookedly, cut the front of his hair line very short and straight across.
Never. Never ever again. EVER. Whitney butchered our daughter's hair. And the day before her big 8th birthday party!! Whitney was supposed to give layers and all she did was chop here and there. It looked like someone took pruning shears to her hair. One side much shorter than the other and bangs so uneven. Most horrible place ever and we will never return. Guess I learned to never stray from your regular GOOD stylist.
HORRIBLE. I went in to have my hair colored a light brown and showed her a picture two times but, she dyed it a dark reddish-brown. Now I can't get a refund and she's trying to sell me a bunch of products to fix it. NEVER GOING BACK!!
BTW: Last year when he go this hard cut he was about 3 and a half and moved around quite a bit. This time has almost 5 years old and barley moved, Still this woman chopped my babies hair completely up!!
I was shocked!!! The charged me for that horrible hair cut and the made me believe I was getting my money back for this hideous cut. Me and my child finally got home and sadly I fouled another gash but inside his top part, When I found this I was forced to cut all of his hair off!!! My 4 year old boy went from having a "cool" kind of, messy faux hawk look is now bald! I will never set foot into a Cost Cutters again!!!
Made an appointment, watched them take several walk-ins before me. No update or acknowledgement after waiting half an hour. Am thankful I didn't let them touch my hair.
I left clearly upset and soon I noticed all the other problems with his hair cut. I called and spoke with the asst. manager and while talking w/ her I noticed yet another gash shaved into his back of his hair, I stated to the manager I 'd be right in for her to see this, She offered to fade it up and fix it the best as she could. Then she asked me if I could "fill something out" I assumed this would be a sort of incident report but the woman then called another stylist over to ask her about processing a refund. She asked me to fill out the bottom of a receipt that said refund on it after I filled the receipt out, the woman apologized, BUT just as I was about o walk out I told the woman- "Oh you forgot to give me my money" She said "Oh no you don’t get your money back; that’s just how we process a "Re-Cut"
