Totally unacceptable!
A highly sub-par theater. The seats have not been updated in years, and the entire place is in dire need of renovation. The screens are pretty good, but the 3D screens leave something to be desired. One (theater 5) is off-center so it's kind of a strange arrangement, and the other (theater 7) has a noticeable ghosting effect.
The theater is gross and half the seats are missing their arm pads. The felt on the seats is worn and black instead of red. The floors are always dirty and the place smells. I understand were not the biggest town but this place is embarrassing to call my only theater.
Great theater with 8 rooms for movies. Of course, like almost all other theaters, EXPENSIVE concessions!
The audio is also not great in the main theaters. Often times, people's general chatter during previews drowns out what's being said on screen, and even when actual movies play it's generally lacking. The Dolby system at the downtown Grand Theater is WAY better and if you've seen a movie there you'll know what I mean.
I caught the last showing of a movie on Sunday night. Afterwards I, and the other patrons, headed to the bathrooms only to find they had closed them for the night.
Overall, it's just a fine theater, but as far as the audio/visual aspects go, this theater leaves A LOT to be desired. If you can wait for the movies shown here to show up at The Grand, you'll have a better movie-goinge experience. If you could care less about sound and screen quality, by all means, enjoy.
The theaters are all kinda small and in disrepair. Rarely am I able to find a seat that has the cushions on both arm rests. The seats are all cheap and old. Still pretty comfortable, but nothing special, especially when you don't even have an arm cushion. This place has needed an update for a long time.
